New from LOBA: 2K ImpactOil – Now Overcoatable
The trusted impregnating oil has been updated and can now also be overcoated with virtually all approved LOBA water-based lacquers.
LOBA 2K ImpactOil has been updated. In addition to being used as an impregnating oil for indoor wooden floors and furniture, the new formulation can now also be used as a base coat for virtually all approved LOBA water-based lacquers.
For example, when LOBA 2K ImpactOil is combined with one coat of LOBA 2K InvisibleProtect, you get the benefits of an extremely matt impregnating oil – rich colour and a natural appearance – combined with the benefits of a lacquer: excellent wear resistance and optimum protection against staining. When using other LOBA lacquers, two coats should be applied.
This gives you the best of both worlds: the natural appearance and rich colour of an oiled floor, combined with the protection and wear resistance of a lacquered finish.
Colours
The updated LOBA 2K ImpactOil is available in 17 rich, oil-based colours plus a transparent version. The colour numbers of the tinted variants remain unchanged.

The updated 2K ImpactOil comes in new packaging. The lid features an additional opening with a pouring spout, making the product easier to measure and apply.
If the hardener for the impregnating oil needs to be mixed with Component A before use, or if different colours need to be mixed, the entire lid can be removed. When applying the product to the floor, the pouring spout is particularly practical and user-friendly.
How to identify the updated version
The new formulation can be identified by:
- the updated packaging with pouring spout;
- the wording ‘Overcoatable’ on the label.
Please note: the old and new formulations must not be mixed. The old, non-overcoatable versions will remain available while stocks last.
