APPLICATIONS WAKOL PU ADHESIVES
Wakol manufacture several parquet adhesives based on PU (polyurethane resin). These 2-component adhesives ensure impact-resistant bonding of both composite and solid wooden floors.
They are suitable for almost every application, are very strong and great value from a cost perspective. You can use this type of adhesive for all types of wooden floors on both cement and anhydrite-bonded subfloors that meet the DIN standards.
However, we do not recommend this adhesive on tile floors. Additionally, caution should be noted when using PU adhesives to install re-finished wooden floors. Any residue left on the wooden floor surface can be very difficult to remove and will likely need to be sanded. It is also wise to note that PU adhesive residue left on unprotected skin can be difficult to remove and can cause temporary staining. We therefore recommend using gloves with this type of adhesive. All Wakol PU adhesives are guaranteed with all Loba lacquers and oils in the Connected Systems program.
